The UV-blocking quartz glass used for the bulb body is stronger than hardened glass and extremely resistant to extreme temperatures and vibrations. Important:
This high-power halogen bulb gets very hot. So when installing it, never touch the glass with your bare fingers, as grease and dirt from your skin will impair heat dissipation and reduce the life of the bulb. Always use a clean, grease-free cloth or paper handkerchief for gripping the bulb.
For extra-long bulb life, you can install an inexpensive electronic protector to prevent damage caused by voltage spikes (see "Compatible products").
