KRIEGA HYDRAPACK 3,75L
RESERVOIR DRINK INSERT
Important notes
KRIEGA HYDRAPACK 3,75L RESERVOIR DRINK INSERT
On adventure tours you always have to remember to drink enough. In this respect, the Kriega *Hydrapak Reservoir 3 litre* is an excellent choice. It is a high performance military grade hydration insert for the Kriega *Trail 9* and *Trail 18 Adventure* backpacks. This "First Wave" reservoir (to military specification) is designed for extreme environments. It is essentially made of 0.4mm thick thermo-polyurethane (TPU), making it twice as thick as a standard consumer model. The reservoir is fully reversible from the inside out for easy cleaning/drying. A wide slide-seal opening makes filling easier and is also a leak-proof closure. The special Hydrofusion drinking tube is also very appealing. It is durable, lightweight and has foam insulation. The hose thus helps to keep the drinking water cool even in the hottest temperatures. The mouthpiece is a Surge bite valve in a natural, ergonomic design with on/off twist function and protective cover. The Plug-N-Play connection system allows you to disconnect the drinking tube from the reservoir (an automatic shut-off valve prevents leakage). For easy refilling, you can then remove the Kriega *Hdrapack 3 l* from the pack while the drinking tube remains in place.

Luggage systems for demanding travel.
Dom Longman and Michael Cottam are the fathers of the Kriega brand. The motorcycle-mad product designers were already working in the outdoor industry when they joined forces in 2000 to design the optimal luggage for their own tours. The two had very clear priorities: Function always comes first. Appearance and pricing are secondary. Such a philosophy naturally has consequences: Luggage systems from Kriega are certainly not cheap - but they are definitely good value. The quality of materials and workmanship then also puts the purchase costs into perspective. In addition, there are many possible combinations of the individual parts, which fit together neatly. By the way: US at Kriega stands for Universal System and OS for Overlander System. The latter is specially designed for particularly tough off-road use. Kriega's sophisticated concept didn't just convince us. The company, based a few miles south of Liverpool, now sells its bags, backpacks and fastening systems in over 40 countries.
