Heat Protection Shield
Self-adhesive heat protection shield
- For protecting plastic components such as panniers and fairing elements from heat.
- Also for installation in silencers with a carbon-fibre housing.
- Lined with aluminium foil on one side
- Available in two sizes: 25 x 33 cm and 50 x 50 cm
Key features:
- Base material is E-glass fibre, with long-term heat resistance up to approx. 500°C
- Reflection material is aluminium foil secured with a copolyamide-based adhesive.
- For optimum results, direct contact with the heat source should be avoided, as there is a danger of the adhesive breaking down at constant temperatures above 200°C. With an air gap of only about 10mm, temperatures of up to 500°C can easily be withstood.
