GILLES TITANIUM NUT VAR. KA/SU/YA/TR M18X1,5
Small and very stylish! This patented lock nut from Gilles is made from superlight high-strength titanium and adds an eye-catching feature to your bike.
At last, the ugly old axle split pin is a thing of the past, and there's no need to fit rubber caps either. The axle nut, which is milled from the solid, is secured to the bike's rear axle by a small grub screw. This nut may only be a small component, but it is perfectly engineered and simply looks great. It can also be used to secure the swing arm axle or the triple tree - weighing in at a mere 20 grams!
- Ultra-light (approx. 20 g) titanium nut with elegant design, manufactured from ti6alv4
- Patented, innovative pin-lock mechanism effectively prevents the nut from working loose
- The size across flats and tightening torques are the same as the original axle nut , which means that no special tool is required
- Available in 4 thread sizes M18 x 1.5 / M22 x 1.5 / M24 x 1.5 / M25 x 1.5
- Necessary tool for M18: Wrench size 27
- Necessary tool for M22/M24: Wrench size 32
- Necessary tool for M25: Wrench size 36
- Alternative uses: As long as it is compatible in terms of thread and shape, this nut can also be used to secure rear axles or swing arm axles, or as a fork yoke nut.
Details:
If fitted, the washer of the original axle nut must be reused.
