- Rider's pedals fold up.
- Matching pillion footrests can be obtained as accessories (these do not form part of the footrest system), and are simply fitted in place of the original footrests.
- Complete with all the necessary fittings and TΓV test certificate valid for Germany.
- Made in the EU
Note: We recommend that you have these footrest systems fitted by a professional mechanic
Important: If these footrest systems are fitted to a Kawasaki VN 800 or Yamaha XV 535, the cable of the brake light switch must be rerouted. Cable not included
Additional information: The Falcon footrest systems of Kawasaki VN 800/Classic, Kawasaki VL800 Volusia, Yamaha XVS 650 Drag Star/Classic and Yamaha XVS 1100 Drag Star/Classic are not compatible with Falcon Double-Groove exhaust systems.
Premium parts for cruisers and choppers: The exhaust and footrest systems from Falcon combine American style with European quality of manufacture. In other words, the parts not only look great, they also work just as well. The double-walled manifold pipes of the "Double Groove" exhaust systems and the milled and high-polish chrome brake lever and gearshift are just two of many examples for the intelligent and durable design of Falcon products. Your custom bike is therefore guaranteed to give you many years of excellent service.
Today, TΓV reports are increasingly issued for specific types of vehicle. However, no manufacturer is able (e.g. for cost reasons) to have their products tested on all vehicles which might use them. If a vehicle model is not listed, it is the inspector who has to decide about registration on the basis of his technical expertise; the strength of the product and its roadworthiness are confirmed by the existing TΓV report.
Since 2002, TΓV only accepts component certificates which include verification of the manufacturer's quality management system according to the requirements of Β§19 Appendix XIX of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) in the form of a valid certification document. Older reports can now only be used in exceptional circumstances in the course of a full technical inspection (Bauratabnahme), but the inspector is by no means obliged to make the entry in the papers.
