DAYTONA ARROW VENT GTX
With the *Arrow Vent GTX*, Daytona has another "arrow" in its quiver that will please you on all your trails. Ideal for summer tours and rides, the perforations on the outside keep your feet pleasantly refreshed by the breeze. In addition, the sporty short boots are equipped with a GORE-TEX Carbon Grey membrane, which keeps them breathable and waterproof. The Daytona *Arrow Vent GTX* are very comfortable and give you the best support. Good protection is provided by the certified ankle protectors on both sides, which are padded on the inside with special open-cell foam.

Good to know:
Your breathable shoes are wind and waterproof. But boots are only breathable when you're wearing technical socks. Whereas cotton socks absorb and store moisture, technical socks first of all wick sweat and moisture away from your feet and into your shoes. Then the breathable shoe membrane completes the job of transporting the moisture out of the shoe altogether. That's how breathability works.

Most traditional, high-quality outer material with cult status for motorcycle clothing and accessories. Unmistakable in its natural, high-quality look, the strong image, ideally suited to both figure-hugging and highly functional designs. The biker's "second skin" still has the edge over any textile material when it comes to safety and resistance to abrasion and tearing. The way the material stretches as the clothing is worn means that leather clothing adapts to the body contours ideally, thus also guaranteeing that protectors fit optimally. Leather clothing should therefore always be bought with a close fit. Impregnation, leather oil and surface coatings guarantee good weather protection and a degree of rainproofing, but unfortunately also limit the breathability. Relatively heavy, but enthusiasts value this as a "quality feature". Looked after properly, it is very durable. Because leather does not itself offer much thermal insulation, the other features of the garment, or the base layers of clothing, must provide some help here.

The reflective material is visible from a distance of 160 m, which significantly improves the wearer's safety at night. Significantly more resistant to abrasion than the majority of other nylon materials, and can therefore provide a degree of protection in the event of a fall. Attractive, slightly textured, natural weave appearance. Various fibre thicknesses available (500D is twice as thick as 250D). Special Cordura fabrics cater for particular applications. For example, Powernet-Cordura from Rukka is used to reinforce potential impact points on motorbike clothing, Air-Flow Cordura offers increased breathability. Impregnators give additional protection against soiling and weather.
