Bering E-Protect Air Airbagvest

Specially developed for use on the road, BERING has decided to develop an airbag waistcoat that is worn over the motorbike jacket. This ensures maximum compatibility and comprehensive coverage of the vital areas to be protected.
The built-in technology is the result of the R&D team's research and has been tested over more than 500,000 kilometres. The efficiency of the algorithm enables an extremely fast inflation time of the E-PROTECT AIR.

The detection mechanism is powered by 2 batteries (1x 3.6V article number 10057636 + 1x 9V block battery available wherever batteries are available) with a very high autonomy (500 hours of battery life), so that the rider does not need to recharge daily.

The accompanying E-PROTECT AIR app allows you to activate, manage and monitor the status of the airbag directly from your phone.

Attention: the full use of the vest is associated with additional costs!

Safety:

• Back protector POB109 from the PROTECT FLEX brand, certified to EN 1621-2:2014, Level 1
• The detection time differs from accident to accident and from vehicle to vehicle and can therefore vary depending on the conditions.
• The inflation time is fixed and is less than 0.05s.
• Protection of the coccyx and abdomen
• The E-PROTECT AIR airbag waistcoat has been certified in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/425 in compliance with the Aliénor protocol.
• It has been awarded the 4-star SRA label.
• The E-PROTECT AIR airbag waistcoat has been certified according to the EN17092-6-2020 standard.
• NOT suitable for the race track! Pure road system for everyday use.

Material:

• Outer composition: stretchy, abrasion and tear-resistant material made from 80% nylon, 20% elastane

Activation:

• After purchasing the E-PROTECT AIR airbag waistcoat, the associated service must be activated on the website (https://store.bering.fr/en_GB/).
• The E-Protect Air application is available for Android (from version 10) and IOS (from version 14).
• You can choose between two options
• IMPORTANT! Activation cannot be carried out by Louis! Another direct contract must be concluded with Bering!

Each option depends on your use of the motorbike, whether you want to use it all year round or only occasionally.

(1) You benefit from a 2-year legal manufacturer's warranty (Art. L. 217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and a warranty against defects (Art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). As part of the ReFLEX subscription, the customer also benefits from a premium manufacturer's warranty for the electronic device (replacement or repair). As part of the InFINITY purchase offer, the Customer can take out a commercial warranty of 1 year (€59.99) or 2 years (€119.99) after taking out the additional warranty for the electronic device (replacement or repair), which supplements the legal warranty.
The applicable warranties do not apply in the event of shocks, falls, poor storage conditions, damage to the waistcoat that is not due to an inherent defect in the waistcoat, modifications or repairs to the waistcoat not carried out by Trophy S.A.S., or in the event of improper use of the waistcoat or in the event of use of the waistcoat that goes beyond the road use of motorbikes and scooters with 2 or 3 wheels.
(2) The Stop & Go option can be activated once per calendar year for a non-separable period of 2 to 5 months. The price of the ReFLEX subscription is then limited to €5.99/month for the duration of the Stop & Go option.

- Resetting the product after an airbag deployment (excluding shipping costs) = 129.99€
- Reactivation of the ReFLEX option after a cancellation of the subscription (including a diagnosis, excluding shipping costs) = 99.99€
- Compulsory diagnostics for used goods (excluding shipping costs) = 129.99€

The customer advisors on site can also help you with technical questions, error messages or system malfunctions. It is often not necessary to send in the waistcoat for such problems, but this is done remotely by the trained Bering team.
